My name is William. After a long career in technology in the United States, my family and I moved to Spain, landing first in Madrid. This blog is where I share that journey in photos and stories: before the move, settling in, and the places we explore.

It's also home to something I've done for more than thirty years: building things. Flashlights, electronics, LEDs, welding, machining. I have tens of thousands of photos of those projects, and I'll be sharing the best of them here.

I'm a visual storyteller, so expect more photos than words.
